After the weather teased us all week with cold temps and scattered flurries, we finally had a dusting of snow overnight that stuck! The girls had a blast experiencing their first real snow fall, watching the white puffy flakes falling before bed, and waking up to a completely new world. It wasn’t a huge snowfall, maybe 2 inches, but it was soft and fluffy and perfect for throwing snow balls at each other and making snow angels in the front yard. It wasn’t even 10am before all the kids on the block were out and playing in the snow. It was pretty magical. I know the general consensus is that winter = evil, but even with all the shoveling, ice and cold I can’t help but fall in love with it. It will most likely be gone by tomorrow, but we are already gearing up for the next big snowfall. I didn’t get a lot of pictures since Bailey was more interested in running down the street and not wearing her gloves, but here are a few to enjoy!
