Lauren & Zach A Farm at Dover, Wisconsin Wedding

Weddings

October 4, 2017

Lauren and Zach have one of those love stories for the ages. One that spans over a decade, several states, multiple college degrees and a lot of volleyball games. They grew up down the road from each other, and during her senior year, Zach asked her to homecoming. It was their first official beginning, but like it often does, life tends to take us in different directions and the pair remained friends during college but focused on getting their degrees and Lauren focused on her volleyball career. Their second official beginning happened several years later when Zach invited Lauren to NYC. Just over a year later, while they were vacationing in Yosemite, Zach asked Lauren to be his wife.

We started the day at the Ironhorse hotel, before heading to the farm to capture details and prepare for the first look. Every part of their day was thoughtfully planned by Meredith and the Blue Fancy team. They did such a wonderful job of bringing a little bit of Napa into the always gorgeous Farm at Dover! One of my favorite parts of the day was their emotional first look. Zach and Lauren chose to read each other letters and exchange gifts after seeing each other, with Lauren asking Zach to take a moment to pray together. It was such a special, quiet moment between the two of them.

Lauren & Zach’s bridal party was so amazing to work with. They were hilarious and kind, I couldn’t imagine a better squad for the bride and groom! I adored the matching Kendra Scott earrings that Lauren gifted her girls! After portraits, it was time for the ceremony. Lauren and Zach kept their faith as a big part of their day, with a beautiful cross at the altar, and a verse from the book of Mark “no longer two, but one” on display. Their handwritten vows were heartfelt and I don’t think there was a dry eye to be found after Zach’s touching vows to Lauren. Guests tossed leaves at the couple as they exited the forest, it was so much fun!

Lauren and Zach enjoyed the evening with their friends and family before dancing the night away in the gorgeous barn at the Farm at Dover. It was such a perfect day!

Lauren and Zach, I wish you both a lifetime of happiness together! Thank you so much for having me capture this new beginning of your lives together as husband and wife!
