Lauren and Marc met on Match.com. They spent their first date bonding on their recent travels abroad and Riverwest Stein. After three years together, Marc surprised Lauren at work and proposed, celebrating with their families afterward. It was such a joy shooting their engagement session and I’ve been looking forward to their wedding all year!
Their wedding took place at the beautiful Pritzlaff Building in Milwaukee, Wi in the 325 room. They loved the option of getting married outdoors, surrounded by classic Milwaukee cream city brick and incorporating a garden feel throughout the day. Lauren and Marc found wonderful ways to include family and friends into their special day. Lauren’s sister Anne designed their lovely floral invitation suite. Lauren’s friend Cassidy painted a beautiful piece to use as their guest signature board that will hang in their home. For her details, Lauren incorporated her great Grandma’s wedding band and her grandmother’s purse. Marc’s brother did a heartfelt toast during the reception, and Lauren’s sisters surprised her by creating a video of interviews with the couple they had complied for over a year (and filling in the blanks by hilariously reenacting their first match.com meeting!). My favorite surprise from the day was coming across a lemonade stand after the first look, I think we made those kids year! From their joyful first look on the Milwaukee lakefront to their heartfelt handwritten vows, every piece of their day was built with intention and love (and ice cream!).
Congratulations Lauren & Marc! Thank you so much for having me capture your beautiful day!!
