When I first met Maggie and Rob, they had a really clear vision of what they wanted their wedding day to look like. Maggie wanted to be surrounded by friends and family on the farm she grew up on. Rob was really excited about playing games with his friends and of course, the food. They both wanted a wedding day that family and friends would look back upon, smile, and remember how much fun they had. Though they were planning their Wisconsin wedding from miles away (with the help of the fabulous Stefany of The Majestic Vision), they wanted an intimate day with lots of personal DIY touches. Maggie handmade the invitations and the place cards. She didn’t really have a theme or color scheme, everything fell into place beside her aunts big blue farmhouse.
Her mom put together bunches and bunches of locally grown flowers (from a friends house) to adorn the farm fence and centerpieces the morning of the wedding. Maggie’s uncle helped me put her dress on a window just outside the barn, while the horses stood guard – a huge thank you for making my dress shot dreams come true! Throughout the entire day, their families and friends came together to witness and celebrate their joyful love story.
I’m so happy to share more of their beautiful summer Wisconsin farm wedding. Thanks so much for choosing me to capture your gorgeous day!
